The most likely cause of ForeFlight not connecting to the sim is usually a change in IP addresses on the iPad. Please follow the few steps below to get you reconnected.

1. With your simulator running, open the X-Plane menu by moving the mouse to the far upper left corner of the screen to open the drop down menu.

2. Select Settings, Net Connections, iPhone iPad, and uncheck everything that may be displayed.

3. Click on the radio button "Send AHARS data to ALL iPads running ForeFlight, Sky Demon."

4.Open ForeFlight, then press MORE, DEVICES,  X-PLANE CONNECTED.  A sub menu will appear, then slide the button to Enable.

5. Close Network connections menu in X-Plane and verify your location is correct on the moving map in ForeFlight.


If you don't see X-Plane connected in Foreflight, please follow the steps below.

1. With ForeFlight open, press MORE,DEVICES. Press the "I" icon on the upper right hand corner, and make a note of the IP address listed for WiFi

2. Enter this number in X-Plane Settings, Net Connections, iPhone iPad, and enter the IP address in Send AHARS data to ONE iPad or iPhone.

3. Open ForeFlight, then press MORE, DEVICES,  X-PLANE CONNECTED.  A sub menu will appear, then slide the button to Enable.

5. Close Network connections menu in X-Plane and verify your location is correct on the moving map in ForeFlight.
